Airport to Södermalm

1. The airport bus to City Terminalen (Stockholm City) is the cheapest option. It leaves every 15 minutes until 1.30am (then there are a bit less frequent connections at 2.15am, 3.15am, 4.45am) and the journey takes around 45 minutes. The cost is approx €11. Have a look at https://www.flygbussarna.se/ for more information or to buy tickets. If you buy the tickts online, the prices are a bit lower.
You can also take the fast (but more expensive) Arlanda Express train (takes ca 20min): https://www.arlandaexpress.com/
2. Buy a one-week metro ticket if you can (it is approx €40). Take the metro to Slussen (any southbound on the green or red line).

There is more information at the bottom of the page.

Parking

Roadside parking in the city and around the fair costs money. There are two different rates – ‘Taxa 2’ and ‘Taxa 3. A blue sign on the street informs which rate applies. A good way is to download the parking app ‘Stockholm Parking’. Otherwise, there are pay machines. Roadside parking is usually free in the evenings and Sundays. The information on what hours you are supposed to pay a parking fee is stated on the parking signs.

Car parks (garages) offer ‘evening parking’ at a low price. The fee is SEK 50 from 18.00 to midnight. For this you pay SEK 50 in the pay machine and the parking time you get will automatically ‘jump’ to midnight.

You can also park on the roadsides in the suburbs, where there are usually no parking zones and it is free. Good areas are Hökarängen, Farsta, Fruängen, Älvsjö. These areas are easy to get to and from by metro or commuter train. Updated information here.

Food and drink

Lollos café will be serving food and hot beverages inside the fair.

There are also several restaurants and cafes in the vicinity of Slussen.

Where can I...

Buy Tools

In Södermalm on Hornsgatan 69, about a 20 min walk away there is a store called Järnina where you can get tools and

In the city center, there is Clas Ohlsson on Drottninggatan. You get there by metro from Slussen to T-Centralen.

If you are traveling by car Bauhaus Sickla is an option, you can also take the bus 409 or 410 from Londonviadukten to Sicka Bro, or 401 or 403 to Sickla Allé.

Buy paint

The closest place to get paint and art equipment would be Konstnärernas Centralköp at Mosebacke square, it's only a 15-minute walk from the fair.

In the city center, there is also Kreatima on Kungsgatan 58, you can get the metro here - just get off at T-Centralen.

You can also get some paint at Clas Ohlsson on Drottninggatan in the city center. This place is also good for things like tape and paper.

Find an ATM

The two closest ATMS are at Götgatan 3 (Slussen) and Kornhamnstorg 51 (Galma Stan).

Print and copy

At Snabb Kopiering/ Office Depot at Bondegatan 27 you can copy and print.

It's open 8.00 - 17.00 Monday - Friday.

You can also copy (but not print) at Nordins Papper on the bottom level of the small shopping center at Medborgarplatsen.
