G.I.G: KBcollective
Sollefteå, Sweden
G.i.G. Galleriet i Gränden invites KBCOLLECTIVE, a group of independent artists engaged in collaborative art activities: Anita Berg, Sandra Mozard, Thomas Hallbert, and Frode Thorjussen. Together, they have prioritised peripheral projects in various ways.
In 2025, G.i.G. gives space to the expression of the wild, deep, sensitive, and intuitive insight and empathy by tracing an exploratory guide through image, sound, form, text, graphic scores, and a fanzine – an alternative mapping that acts as both a navigation and an invitation to get lost. A polyphonic context of independent artists exploring together.
Mens agitat molem (the mind moves the mass) offers a slow growth of resting in doubt – the doubtful charge that gives power to the edge and shows the direction for passion to take off; forward in wild, convinced uncertainty. ‘Wild Visions’, where images in motion and form are challenged by sound and words – emancipated signs.
