Gallery 5 is a space for art exhibitions introducing the latest trends of contemporary art. The exhibitions of Gallery 5 are chosen twice a year with an open call. Oulu Artists Association running the venue is a professional association of visual artists operating in the Oulu region, Finland. It has been an advocate of artists in the area since 1963 and promotes visual art in the Oulu region, Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu.In 2023 Gallery 5 & Oulu Artists Association takes part in the Supermarket Art Fair together with three of their member artists; Hannele Peltorinne (b. 1980 in Pori, Finland), Daniel Nagy (b.1980, in Simleu Silvaniei, Romania) and Christelle Mas (b.1984 in Paris, France) curated by Selina Väliheikki.
