Inaugurated in December 2015, Elbirou Art Gallery is an independent cultural platform in Sousse, Tunisia, promoting international exchange and supporting emerging artists. It provides access to art and culture for local communities, particularly young people, and serves as a space for exhibitions, installations, talks, book presentations, concerts and performances. Since its opening, Elbirou has organised over 100 exhibitions featuring both Tunisian and international artists. In 2018, it launched the annual contemporary art festival ‘UV – Utopies Visuelles’, and since 2022, it has run an artist residency programme.

At SUPERMARKET 2025, Elbirou presents Tunisian artists Selim Ben Cheikh, Wissem El‑Abed, Mouna Jemal Siala, Hela Lamine and Najah Zarbout.
