Amina Zoubir explores the representation of the African body in photography and archives during the 19th century, shaped by colonial influences. By deconstructing these photographic archives, she questions and reclaims narratives inherited from the colonial past.
Dalel Tangour, one of Tunisia’s first female photographers, captures intimate and poetic black-and-white moments. Her work evokes resilience, memory and identity through subtle details and sensitive spaces. Both artists exhibit internationally and examine the connection between identity, gender and cultural heritage.
