The ACOSS programme was founded in 2006 in Yerevan by artist Mkrtich Tonoyan, under the auspices of the ‘Akos’ cultural NGO. The mission of ACOSS is to create a liberal, democratic, and intellectual meeting space for local and international artists, thinkers, researchers, writers, and community organisers to come together, reflect, and act on the challenges of our contemporary world.

ACOSS is a member of ResArtis and the Microresidence International network. Since 2006, it has hosted 264 international artists from 40 countries and continues to build its network and develop art residency exchanges.

At SUPERMARKET 2025, we present works by artists who collaborate with us: Samvel Saghatelyan (Armenia/USA), Paul Bogaret (The Netherlands), and Mkrtich Tonoyan (Armenia).
