Unit One gallery is an artist-run gallery located in 798 art district in Beijing. It was founded in 2010 by the artist Li Gang. Unit One Gallery show Chinese, Korean and European artists, and exhibitions last for one week or 10 days. We show paintings, sculptures, installation works, photography and performances. This year we showed mostly photo and video. Each year, from March on, there is an opening every second week. At the openings we have music and video screenings. If the weather allows, we can enjoy a barbeque in the open air.

After the opening, the artist is watching the show, available to the visitors. Before the opening we also help the artist to find the place to do their work, such as photo lab, artist foundry, poster printshop, and arrange studio visits etc.
