Treignac Projet is an off centre, peer-initiated organisation, directed towards collaborative activity within the arts. The project promotes research and teaching, auto-administration, and academic independence through the efforts of a network of Peers. The project revolves around a studio research program, seminars, a schedule of shows and publications.

Treignac Projet has two gallery spaces of approx 200m2 and 80m2 and a residency program which invites a mixture of solo artists and groups.

A desire to meaningfully engage with the potential of rural locations, has lead the exhibition program to deal with infrastructure and architectural issues alongside those of art.
