The Carousel Institute of Arts (C.I.A.) is a network of art spaces where ideas can be explored, relationships formed, and artists can play. Over the past year, the initiative has continued to develop its practice and philosophy, with new contributors joining its ongoing activities. C.I.A. hosts regular events, exhibitions, residencies and parades, creating contexts in which ideas are tested, relationships formed and artistic practices explored.
Working across multiple formats, including their evolving alternative art school, C.I.A. seeks to challenge and extend conventional rules of the physical and digital art space through collective approaches.
