Plan B

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Plan B is an independent Amsterdam based artist-run space founded by
artist Tarja Szaraniec in September 2006. In 2009 artist Tomas Adolfs got involved and set up the Plan B Multiple Store for which presented artists would produce a Multiple work that was sold here.

Plan B has been working with a range of young artists in short, small to medium sized group exhibitions,
videoscreenings, one-night events, Plan B residency presentations and the
first releases of theme-zine the Sessions.
After three years of making exhibitions in Plan B's canalhouse in the citycenter of Amsterdam, Plan B is now continuing on a more flexible base, without a static location. Closely related to the artistic, researching and producing matters that it stems from it is a flexible platform that can take different shapes and functions.

Plan B is ad-hoc and  strongly believes that there is more in between the ironic and the iconic.
