Petri Anttonen, "City 2", 2011, lenticular image. Lenticular images are a form of stereo imagery resulting from combining multiple views of a single image. Although the three-dimensional photograph can be understood to be as fictive as the two-dimensional photograph, the allure of the moment created by stereopsis facinates the viewer time after time.
