Parkingallery is an independent a project space based in Tehran, started in 1998 originally as a temporary exhibition space, and graphic design studio. In summer 2002, online journal and gallery Parkingallery.com went online and since then along with introducing numerous young artists to Tehran’s emerging contemporary art scene, initiated various International exhibitions and workshop projects ever since. Parkingallery is a home of Parking Video Library one of the most extensive video archives inside Iran and its International Festival for Moving Image, Sound and Performance LIMITED ACCESS has been a great success with screenings, talks and performance since 2007. New Media Society is a collective which acts both as an archive/research center and a hub between spaces, initiatives, artists, and scholars across Iran and the globe. Founded by Parkingallery Projects in mid-2014, New Media Society is the recipient of the 2014-2015 Grant from Prince Claus Foundation and its network and forces are dedicated to create knowledge about New Media scene in Iran and Middle East. Parkingallery’s presence at Supermarket 2015 is cuarted by Behzad Khosravi Noori and Amirali Ghasemi with kind support of Aaran art gallery - Tehran.
