The Artists’ Association MUU promotes professional artists working across a wide range of disciplines. MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre arranges exhibitions, screenings, concerts, performances, lectures and workshops by artists and curators from Finland and abroad.

An artist's book can be a performance, a sculpture, a video or a concept!
Working from this spectrum of ideas, MUU is presenting a selection of artists’ books and text-based video works that offer reflections on paradise, a view of digital history, tales of travel and a surreal detective story.
BOOKED is an event devoted to books made by artists, conceptual literature and text-based artworks. Organized by MUU, BOOKED was held in Helsinki in 2021 and 2022. On both occasions it presented over 200 artworks, artist books and publications from Finland, the Nordic countries and countries outside the Nordic region.
For Supermarket 2023, MUU presents close to 50 artists’ works. Full list of presented artists can be found on MUU's webpages
The next edition of BOOKED will take place at MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre, Finland during spring 2024. The open call for the BOOKED 2024 will be published at Supermarket 2023.
Artist’s Association MUU is a national association for artists working in non-traditional media and new media. Membership is open to practitioners that are Finnish citizens or reside in Finland.
