Artists' Association MUU
The Artistsʼ Association MUU represents and promotes professional artists working across a wide range of disciplines in the fields of media and experimental arts. MUU was founded in 1987 out of the need of having an association for artistsʼ working with video, performance, installations, environmental art, sound art etc. The Finnish word muu means something else. In November 2009 MUU has 550 artists members.

MUU gallery
Besides contemporary art exhibitions, MUU gallery and MUU studio arranges video
screenings, concerts and performances by artists and curators from Finland and abroad. Yearly more than 150 artists are taking part in MUU's program.

MUU Media Base
MUU is networking between different organisations, festivals and schools bring together innovative practitioners from all brances of new media arts. MUU Media Base is a digital working space with the aim to support creation and presentation of art works achieved through the use of new and evolving technologies.

AMORPH! Performance Festival
Important MUU Festivals and Events are among others Amorph! International Performance Art Festival that has been arranged since mid 90's. The latest, 9th, french-finnish Amorph!, year 2008, was organized both in Paris and in Helsinki.
Amorph! 2006 was the largest gathering than ever before of different fields of performing arts, varying from sound to theatre and dance. Amorph! 2003 was a summit of the Micronations.

AUDIO AUTOGRAPHS Sound Art Project
International Sound Art Event Audio Autographs opened up year 2009 for a sound in media programme, organising events, seminars and workshops, with a netradio as it's main meeting point. www.muu.fi/sound
Audio Autographs is a Nordic sound art project with an international outlook. Based in MUU Finland, its aim is to promote contemporary sound artists. Audio Autographs includes a number of activities. A net-radio with all technical solutions available for artists was opened June 2009.
MUU FOR EARS -CDs are a series of sound art publications, presenting Finnish, Nordic and International sound art.
Max/MSP, a workshop on interactivity sound installations was organised during winter 2009-10 in Muu Media Base. The course ended with a presentation during the Pixelache festival 2010 in Helsinki and an exhibition in Kerava Art Museum.
