Eki means ‘train station’ in Japanese. Kyojima Station is a fictional station named as a place where everyone can gather. Hosted by Guy Hirose, Kyojima Station has developed through collaboration with numerous artists and continues to evolve as an ongoing, open-ended project.
Conceived as a station for collective arrival and departure, Kyojima Station is shaped by the days Guy Hirose has lived and by the people he has met and continues to encounter. The project exists as a living artwork, created together with others over time, expanding through shared experiences, movement and exchange.
