Basel, Switzerland
kunsthallekleinbasel is an independent artist-run initiative which runs self-supporting. Founded in 2014 the initiative was located in an inhabited apartment in Basel (Switzerland) where over 40 one-day exhibitions took place focussing on the presence of the artists and collective experience. The project operates self-supporting and focuses on the cooperation between freelance artists, curators, and educators. Since 2018 the initiative is based in a shared studio in the center of Basel. The project was founded and is run by the artist, curator and educator Jasmin Glaab.
kunsthallekleinbasel presents a curated show with works by Yvonne Good (CH), Silvio Grimm (CH), Fabio Nicotera (IT) and Mirjam Spoolder (CH). The show is curated by Jasmin Glaab, the founder of the space, presenting different approaches and positions embedded in a homely environment that invites to stay.
