SKF/Konstnärshuset is and has been an open forum for art and culture since 1899. Today, Svenska Konstnärernas Förening (the Association of Swedish Artists) consists of 900 members all over the country and gives out awards and grants every year. SKF produces and hosts exhibitions, seminars, and other activities at Konstnärshuset and its new space in the suburbs of Stockholm, Eldhunden.
