HilbertRaum was founded by a group of artists who wanted to own the right and capacity to present exhibitions and shape the way art is being shown . We set up a simple but strict set of rules, within which each of us has absolute freedom to realize his/her ideas about what art to exhibit and how. HilbertRaum is made up of a group of 17 artists from a wide range of artistic fields and distinct aesthetic approaches, which ensures a heterogeneous and exciting exhibition program. HilbertRaum's exhibition program consists of group shows as well as solo presentations, with works by members but mostly by invited artists. We actively engage in exchanges and collaborations with other artist run initiatives.

For Supermarket 2017, our Neukölln project space HilbertRaum is bringing five members who represent our diverse art backgrounds and interests: Kuno Ebert (DE), Niina Lehtonen-Braun (FI), Tobias Sternberg (SE), Daniel Wiesenfeld (DE/US) and Clemens Wilhelm (DE). All are based in Berlin and have expressed a strong interest in connecting to the Scandinavian art scene. Their art spans from painting and sculpture to video and performance, and they are all engaged participants in art projects in Berlin and beyond.
