Graffitifrämjandet works to promote graffiti, street art and related artistic expression. This includes work to support and renewal of the arts, both in quality and quantity. We also want to encourage artists to go beyond their expected limits and meet other art forms.



Graffitifrämjandet is working to create interfaces for a national and international exchange between artists and audience and to enable graffiti artists and street artists to meet their audiences, ant the general public without prior knowledge. We believe in diversity, freedom, democracy and citizen participation in public space. Graffiti promotion struggling to open the walls where graffiti and street artists and other citizens can express themselves freely. We also encourage other meeting places where graffiti can exist, for example, art forums and schools.



How are we doing this?



There are many ways, including through various events, legal walls, yams, discussions and debates.



Graffitifrämjandet are not only working to spread graffiti and street art to the public but also for a style-oriented development of the arts. We see graffiti and street art's great artistic value and want to convey our knowledge further.



Graffitifrämjandet is part of the nationwide organization the National Theatre.
