For Supermarket Artfair 2017 Artist Collective Kunst presents ”We Troll for Love”, a public participatory performance which is commenting hate talk and bullying.
Artist Collective Kunst was founded in 2013. Collective consists of 6 artists: Christina Holmlund, Pia Paldanius, Jarmo Palola, Sirpa Päivinen, Anu Suhonen and Julia Weckman. We work in the fields of photography, video, installation, painting, sculpture and artistic interventions. Influencing and creating change is the highest goal of all the activity we do.
Artist Collective Kunst curates and coordinates non-profit contemporary art gallery, Gallery Lapinlahti in Helsinki. The gallery is situated in 175 years old former mental hospital operated by cultural organization Lapinlahden Lähde. Gallery Lapinlahti presents experimental and independent art projects. We are currently building an international network of galleries and artists.
