At Supermarket we would like to show an interdisciplinary collaborative project on the shifting meaning of fluffing, that interweaves various techniques and participatory aspects. Twisting the theme “Holy Fluff” we aim to give it new meaning through a body of works that will be created specifically for Supermarket.
Together the artists Lisa Fjellman, Anna Lönn Franko, Christoph Mügge, Ulrika Pihlström, Filip Rahim Hansson as well as others who will be announced at a later point would like to execute an eclectic installation containing media like film, sound, works on paper, several modified objects, sculptures and performance.
Some artists will focus on the sensual, attractive and sexual aspects of fluffiness, while others will make their interpretation of making a mass a appear larger (through shaking fibres, feathers, hair etc.) or make works about useless or unimportant information that is another meaning of the term.
