Box is an artist-run space for contemporary art, located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The gallery aims at promoting contemporary Swedish artists, as well as introducing international artists to a Swedish audience. Since the gallery was established in 1998 it has shown over 150 exhibitions. With events such as exhibitions, artist talks, screenings and seminars, Box has build and established a position as an important place for dialog within the field of contemporary art. Box is run by Camilla Johansson, Kim Johansson, Daniel Josefsson, Peter Götzlinger, Martin Hultén, Rickard Ljungdahl Eklund, Gustav Lejelind, Anna Liljedal, Alexandra Nyman, Josefina Posch, Sarah Schmidt, Linn Sundqvist and Hendrik Zeitler. At Supermarket 2017 Box will present the Gothenburg based artist Paul Hage Boutros.

Box is an artistrun gallery focusing on contemporary art. Since its opening in 1998 Box has presented more than 100 exhibitions. With a program including screenings, artist talks, lectures and seminars, today Box is a well established and important site for discussions in the artistic field. In both 2007 and 2009, Box was one of the satellite spaces for the Gothenburg International Biennale.
