At SUPERMARKET 2026, fragment S presents ‘Between Hand and Concept – Craft as Question, Art as Process’. The exhibition reflects on the boundary between craft and art, approaching craft not as function or tradition but as a critical method within contemporary practice.
Featuring works by Korean artists including Lim Soosik and Cho Duri, JeongMee Yoon and Lee Myungho, the presentation focuses on materiality, repetition and process-based approaches. Making is treated as a site of inquiry, where labour and technique become conceptual tools. Through this framework, the exhibition examines how manual practice can operate as a language of thought within contemporary art.
