Swedish Photo Authors is part of the Swedish Association for Professional Photographers and works to strengthen the photo book as an independent art form. Since 1972, the organisation has supported artists who use print as a primary mode of expression, including through the Swedish Photo Book Prize. Its activities focus on improving conditions for photographers and expanding the artistic and conceptual possibilities of the photo book.
At SUPERMARKET 2026, Swedish Photo Authors presents works by former scholarship holders Anna Strand, Erik Viklund and Maria Jonsson, who each exhibit on one day during the fair. In addition, a collective presentation of photographic zines addressing ‘The Great Gala’ is shown throughout the event. The presentation is curated by Helga Härenstam and Mia Rogersdotter Gran.
