Athens, Greece
FokiaNou Art Space is an artist-run project space in an intimate, small apartment in an old building in Athens. FokiaNou encourages collaborative creative efforts between Greek and foreign artists, and promotes the local art community. Founded in 2014, the self-funded, non-commercial space hosts exhibitions, workshops, talks and performances under the direction of two artists, Mary Cox and Panagiotis Voulgaris. Since 2016, over 50 exhibitions have taken place, with ample press coverage and very well attended.
