Founded in 2004, Engage is a professional visual arts organisation with 33 members, active in the visual arts scene of Galway on the west coast of Ireland. Its members work locally, nationally and internationally. Engage supports contemporary artists through professional development, exhibitions, education and residencies. The organisation is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland and Galway City Council, and seeks to provide an atmosphere of creativity, productivity, community, and conviviality.
At SUPERMARKET 2026, Engage participates for the first time, presenting works by a selection of Engage Studio members, including Cecilia Danell, Ruby Wallis, Joan Sugrue and Sara K Dunn. The group looks forward to meeting other artists, exchanging knowledge, and new collaborations.
