CIRKULATIONSCENTRALEN ///

Founded in 2003, CirkulationsCentralen is an organization for the production and presentation of contemporary art and culture, located in Malmö, Sweden. The heart of CC is an artists’ cooperative consisting of 24 studios. The space also houses a gallery and a workshop. 

Since opening we have presented over 100 exhibitions. We show the work of invited artists and collectives from Sweden and internationally as well as of member artists, and we host seminars, screenings, concerts, and performances.

Apart from the regular gallery, we run “CC On the wall”, a project space for two-dimensional works where up and coming artist are invited to show their work.

We frequently attend art fairs in Europe and have been part of exchange programs with several Scandinavian artist-run galleries. We are currently working to build and strengthen relationships with new groups, spaces, and initiatives.

CirkulationsCentralen is a non-commercial artist-run space and maintains relationships with other artist-run and non-profit initiatives.
