Founded in 2003, CirkulationsCentralen is an organization for the production and presentation of contemporary art and culture, located in Malmö, Sweden. The heart of CC is an artists’ cooperative consisting of 24 studios. CirkulationsCentralen also houses a gallery at Båstadsgatan 4, and arrange educational workshops. CC has participated in, among others, the Supermarket Art Fair in Stockholm, Art Swap Europe in Berlin, and Alt_Cph Art Fair in Copenhagen. Collaborations and exchange programmes have been organised with Galleria Rajatila in Tampere (FI), WIZARD gallery in Oslo (NO) and OK Corral in Copenhagen (DK), to name a few. This year the artist duo Knaggi is representing CC at SUPERMARKET; Knaggi is an artist duo consisting of Arngrímur Borgþórsson (b. 1979, Hafnarfjörður, Iceland) and Andreas Knag-Danielsen (b. 1983, Bergen, Norway). They work in Malmö, Sweden, and have been collaborating since 2011. Knaggi has exhibited at various venues in Sweden, Iceland, Denmark and Norway, including Malmö Konsthall in Malmö (SE), Gallery 2 in Stamsund (NO), The SÍM gallery in Reykjavík (IS), Oslo Prosjektrom in Oslo (NO) and at The Nordic Council of Ministers in Copenhagen (DK). www.knaggi.com.
