CFF – Centrum för fotografi

Centrum för fotografi [Centre for Photography] is an organisation for members and associates whose task is to provide general education and convey knowledge regarding photographic images. The hub acts as a gallery and an office on Tjärhovsgatan in Stockholm. The premises are situated in the “Kapsylen” cultural building, which is a collective building for independent cultural groups. The gallery is a brisk and lively meeting place and a forum that holds and explores public debates on photography.

The gallery hosts current Swedish and international photo exhibitions that are associated with pedagogic activities such as lectures, discussion evenings, debates and seminars. Exhibitions are also conveyed, marketed and distributed as touring exhibitions nationally and internationally. CFF arranges regular portfolio displays in Stockholm and Malmö, cooperates with other players in the field of photography and arranges residential exchanges with the other Nordic countries.

The principal sponsor is the Swedish Arts Council. In addition to this, CFF is also supported by Stockholm’s Culture Administration and Culture of the Future.
