Casa Belgrado
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Casa Belgrado is a house, a shop window, a terrace and an art space – above all, it is a living community. Founded in 2013, it developed on the margins of the Buenos Aires art scene as a place for experimentation and encounter.
Run by a team of Latin American artists and cultural managers, Casa Belgrado offers professional and personal accompaniment for each residency, grounded in a Southern Cone perspective. It functions as a creative node for research and experimentation in contemporary art, with a strong focus on performing, visual and sound practices.
More than a production space, Belgrado is a place to inhabit artistic processes collectively. The space hosts rehearsals, workshops, festivals, exhibitions and shows, activating practice beyond fixed formats and final outcomes.
