Krognoshuset Aura -95 years of contemporary art in medieval space.Aura was founded in Lund in 1928 by a group of artists and art friends. Since thenexhibitions are held in Krognoshuset, a medieval building close to the market square and the Art Hall in Lund city centre. Currently, 60 artists and 260 support-members are included. Aura is administered by a board and an employed superintendent.Contemporary art is exhibited by invited Swedish as well as international artists. Lectures, workshops, excursions and other activities are also arranged.34 artists from the artist group participate in Supermarket 2023 to celebrate our 95 years, in meetings with other artist-driven initatives.Konstföreningen Aura is sponsored by the Swedish Arts Council and Lund Municipality.
