Ateljé Bredgrind is an artist-run platform for art and artists, located in the municipality of Avesta, Sweden, 150 km from Stockholm. Ateljé Bredgrind has been active since 2021. We run international artists residency program and project-working space for artistic work. According to the possibilities we run exhibitions in cooperation with other cultural operators.Ateljé Bredgrind is an inspiring and flexible workspace for artistic work. Artist residency offers accommodation and a studio in a scenic area where artists can work in a peaceful environment. Ateljé Bredgrind is surrounded by large waterways, forests and fields. The residency consists of a studio-house of 80 sqm.The artist residency is open to professional artists from all fields of art.
